Summary level forecasts for those alliance groups are published to 2012. Additionally, the section contains capacity and utilisation data by plant for the alliance groups for 2006-2008 together with a summary forecast to 2012. The powertrain sector is also covered with key powertrain attribute metrics for the global industry including engine segmentation by fuel type, valvetrain type, cylinder configuration and displacement.
